Chris practices as a trauma-informed psychotherapist. He is a true postmodern therapist and believes clients are the experts in their lives. Each session is co-explored to discover new meanings for presenting issues and alleviating symptoms that brought the client to therapy.  Chris earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Child and Adolescent Family Therapy specialization from National University and interned at Capital Area Counseling in Austin, Texas, before opening his private practice, which serves all of Texas virtually.

He worked for twenty-eight years in the funeral industry with twenty-two years in the Texas Highland Lakes. Though no longer affiliated with a funeral home, he remains an active deathcare professional. His role extends beyond the traditional funeral home setting, offering grief therapy to individuals facing terminal illnesses, guiding families through the process of preparing for death, and providing individual and grief therapy after the loss. His expertise is further underscored by his prestigious certification as a Thanatology Fellow from the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
